Double Veil to Gnossienne and Scheherazade: These beloved classical pieces have been incorporated into Middle Eastern music in many ways. We will explore this crossover through dance, incorporating double veil technique to enhance the experience.
Romantic Bolero (Includes One Veil): Savor this romantic Cuban beat and musical style, which has become beloved in the Middle East and North Africa. We will explore this cultural intersection, as well as the crossover of the unrelated classical piece "Ravel's Bolero" into Middle Eastern music. We will dance with and without a veil, discovering how these distant cultures have merged and blended together beautifully.
