What: Learn bellydance step by step with other absolute beginner adults in a nurturing environment with Bellyqueen co-founder and master teacher, Kaeshi Chai and Aisha Cannon. The month of May will be focused on the Bastet curriculum.

When: Mondays 8:30-9:30pm, May 1, 8, 15, 22
Cost: 4 Week Course $68 for non-members, $48 for members (Bellyqueen unlimited pass holders)
or use credits from 5 or 10 class cards. No drop-ins. You must sign up for and commit to 4 consecutive weeks in advance. If you don’t show up, you will lose a credit.
About the Teachers:
Kaeshi Chai is a world-fusion bellydancer and teacher trainer who co-founded the professional dance company and school, Bellyqueen. She also co-founded PURE (Public Urban Ritual Experiment), an international community of artists dedicated to healing and social change through dance and music. Kaeshi has performed and taught internationally, and is an alumni member of the Bellydance Superstars, and Jillina’s Bellydance Evolution. She curates the weekly Djam NYC event showcasing dancers and musicians, and teaches at the Bellyqueen School of Dance and Steps on Broadway. Aisha Cannon was the president of the Brown University bellydance club for 4 years. She performed in the Bellyqueen Journey Along the Silk Road show in Milan, Italy in 2016 and took the 2017 Bellyqueen Teacher Training.
