Kaeshi Chai is a theatrical multi-cultural dancer and teacher trainer who co-founded the professional dance company and school, Bellyqueen, and also PURE (Public Urban Ritual Experiment), a global community of artists focused on healing and social change through dance and music. Kaeshi has performed and taught internationally, and is an alumni member of the Bellydance Superstars, and Jillina’s Bellydance Evolution. One of her all time joys is dancing to live music. In addition to her years on stages from Las Vegas and beyond, in 2007 she set up the weekly, ongoing Djam Under Jebon event for dancers and musicians to create and play together in a safe space. She teaches at the Bellyqueen School of Dance and Steps on Broadway. Alice Giampieri (Italy) is one of the greatest exponents of Tribal Fusion in Italy, and has been member of the “Emotional Tribal Fusion” company De Nova Luce directed by Francesca Pedretti. She has studied Ballet, Flamenco, Bharatanatyam Indian dance, oriental dance, Tribal Fusion and Tribal ATS and has improved her oriental and tribal technique by studying with numerous international teachers. As a soloist, she has been invited to teach and perform in the most important festivals in Italy and has performed internationally in Paris, New York, and Barcelona. Alice is the founder and director the school “Aynin” and it’s and associated dance company. Alice was selected to be a member of the show the Bellydance Evolution show “The Dark Side of the Crown” directed by Jillina. She performed with BDE in Washington DC and New York City, Miami, Japan and most recently in a 28 show tour in Holland.
Salit Cohen is a professional Middle Eastern dancer, instructor and choreographer born and raised in Israel. She fell in love with Oriental dance in 2005 in the Jerusalem Arabesque Studio, and since then have been perfecting and expanding her dance skills by taking many classes and workshops by world-renowned masters such as Yousry Sharif, Orit Maftsir, Tito, Nour, Jehan Kamal, Randa Kamel, Raqia Hassan, to name a few. Theatrical shows include 700 Wives, The Joining, Blood on the Veil, and many other performances in galas, festivals and conferences. She has been a member of BellyTrance Group since 2013. Past troupes include Isis Jerusalem, Dance Sol Company, and Arabesque. Salit holds two certificates in Middle Eastern Dance instruction; by the Wingate Institute of Sports, Israel, and by Bellyqueen School, New York. Specializing in Egyptian style with an emphasis on improvisational work Salit teaches regular classes in New York, as well as classes and workshops internationally. As a part of her movement training Salit also practices the art of capoeira. Salit holds an AS degree in Multimedia Programming and Design.
